Radicle Clothing Co. to host ‘art experience’
WEST AKRON — Radicle Clothing Co. is collaborating with lululemon Akron to bring an art experience to the area.
Business owners and operators Kinsey Sandford and Robin Berry said they seek to connect, uplift and empower others in the Akron community and beyond through compelling messages, artistic apparel and accessories and engaging content on social media.
Berry stated “Radicle’ refers to the origin of the root, the very origin of possibility.
“We believe in the power of personal growth and human potential, of kindness and of living authentically,” she said. “These principles have deep, far reaching roots personally and in the greater community.”
According to the owners, they are heavily impassioned by the bold, vibrant colors of street murals and graffiti art, and Radicle melds a bold artistic vision and natural elements with just a pinch of weirdness. In addition, its social messaging includes a strong theme of personal empowerment, self-determination and self-love.
The business will host an opening reception about the art experience tomorrow, June 28, at 5:30 p.m. at the lululemon Akron showroom located at 1711 W. Market St.
Visitors will be able to see the art behind the designs, including new items, and refreshments will be served. Also, framed design concepts, full-color designs and original photography will be on display and available for purchase.
